Cleaning . . . 3 approaches to help you
Scheduling cleaning in a way that fits your lifestyle, and allows you the freedom to follow through on other of life’s tasks is essential. The approach you take can determine what free time you have, and how well of a job at cleaning you do. Take it slow, planned out and follow through thoroughly. You’ll be glad you did.
The cleaning of your house is a responsibility.
When you do it, and how you do it can set the tone for your week. Whether it’s a room, apartment, condominium, townhome or single-family home, keeping it neat and cleanly is a task we need to follow through on.
A cleaned living space ushers in a refreshing atmosphere to live in, and, certainly, makes it a welcoming place for ourselves and any guests that arrive.
And best of all, you don’t necessarily have to be a home cleaner, by profession, to do it well. Nor does it have to be a time-consuming part of our lives.
Here are some suggestions to fit your lifestyle.
Approach 1: Room by room. Done during the week, or, on the weekend. When you go room to room, the task is now manageable. And, it allows you to clearly stop and start in a specific room.
Approach 2: All at one time. This is can be a bit, more daunting. However, for those who want to take the “bull by the horns”, start and finish all at once . . . it’s the way to go.
Note: Within this approach, you can still apply approach 1 above, or 3 below, for a balanced workload.
Approach 3: Cleaning by sections. One section at a time over the course of a week.
> Floors and rugs
> Furniture, mirrors, wall and furnishing decor
> Bathrooms and kitchens
> Finished and additional spaces – basement, attic, garage
> Windows – cleaned seasonally, or by preference
These are some approaches on how you might consider cleaning. Do what works best for you.
And, may these suggestions help you maintain your home with ease.
