This woman has a rainbow house that has taken Instagram by storm

We all love to have our homes reflect our personality and decorate them in countless ways that would make us feel good every time we come from work. Amina Mucciolo has taken interior design to a whole new level, though, and has used the rainbow colours as home decor inspiration, taking Instagram by storm.

34-year-old Amina Mucciolo lives in downtown Los Angeles with her husband, Salvatore, and the two decorated the 650-foot-square apartment. “It’s really important to me that where I live is a reflection of me and my personality, and also of my husband. We like for our space to be fun and happy and inspiring,” she says.

Mucciolo says about the apartment, often referred to as ”Cloudland”, that she ”wanted this place to feel like a living art installation” and like it would always be spring, her favourite season. “There’s something about what happens in spring – the holidays, the colours, that fresh feeling of happiness. It’s so inspiring for me,” she adds.

One of the central pieces of the apartment is a rainbow wall. “I knew I wanted for there to be a rainbow element in my home, at least one really strong rainbow statement,” she said. “I love it so much because I knew it would be great but I was still so scared to do it… But I followed my instinct and I knew it was gonna be good,” Mucciolo explains.

Mucciolo currently has her own design company called Studio Mucci, based ”on the idea that we can bring a dream-like whimsey into the every-day. Joy, excitement and inspiration is what we strive to communicate through our items.”
