Massive creature found on a beach from Indonesia. No one knows what it is
A giant carcass that washed up on a beach in Indonesia‘s central Maluku province left locals and authorities confused, as they tried to identify the misterious creature.
The massive carcass was found on Hulung Beach on Serum Island by a local man, Asrul Tuanakota, according to the Jakarta Globe. Tuanakota said he initially mistook the huge fleshy blob for a stranded boat.

Fishermen thought it was a giant squid at first, but a coordinator of Indonesia’s Marine and Coastal Resources Management said it was, most likely, a whale, as the Telegraph reports. Lab tests will be performed to confirm the species.
