Born on Septemer 18, 1973, James Marsden has had a very interesting career even though he is only 44 years old as of 2017. His first role was in the TV movie In the Line of Duty: Ambush at Waco as “Steven Willis.” He did several television appearances over the next couple of years, including an episode of Saved by the Bell: The New Class.
After his start on television, James Marsden rose to fame by having roles in two of the biggest musicals to come out in 2007. He played Corny Collins in Hairspray, and Prince Edward in Enchanted. Both films received Golden Globe nominations even though Marsden has not yet acquired any major nominations for his stellar body of work. To date, he has approximately 71 acting credits, including a few upcoming projects. It has just been announced that he might reprise the role of Prince Edward in Disenchanted, which will hopefully have a 2018 release date. His film Shock and Awe will be released later in 2017 in which he will play Warren Strobel. His voice will also be heard in Henchmen, which is currently in post-production. It looks like James Marsden has been keeping himself busy since his days on television!
