Born on September 8, 1981, Jonathan Taylor Thomas made a lasting impact on film and television at a very young age. In 1991, he played Randy Taylor on the beloved television sitcom Home Improvement until the show ended in 1999. This role earned him a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Kids’ Choice Awards. Thomas also played the young Simba in the Disney classic The Lion King. Jonathan Taylor Thomas also brought a literary character to life when he played Tom Sawyer in Disney’s Tom and Huck (1995).
