Lori Loughlin’s television career

Learn about the amazing career of an actress from one of television’s most popular sitcoms.

Born on July 28, 1964, Lori Loughlin was originally from Queens, New York. Before she became an actress, she was a junior lifeguard as well as a print model. Her first major acting role was on the ABC soap opera The Edge of Night, in which she played an aspiring dancer named Jody Travis.

Her most iconic role is Rebecca Donalson-Katsopolis on the popular television series Full House. She would then return to that famous role in Fuller House. She has also been in touch with the other cast mates from those shows, including John Stamos. She has even appeared in Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movies in cameo roles!

Within her personal life, Loughlin married for the first name in 1989 to Michael Burns. After their divorce in 1996, she then married Mossimo Giannulli in 1997, and they both have two daughters. Loughlin also co-produced, co-created, and starred on the WB series Summerland even though it only lasted one season. Nevertheless, Lori Loughlin will always remain “Aunt Becky” to fans of Full House and Fuller House.
