Daniel Radcliffe’s magical career

Learn about the versatility of the actor who played the iconic Harry Potter

Daniel Radcliffe has had a very interesting life ever since he was born 28 years ago on July 23rd, 1989. Radcliffe actually disliked the Harry Potter series, but he still went on to play the famous wizard. It was the role that made him a star.

After the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in 2011, he has done his best to practice his acting skills in a wide variety of projects. He has been in romantic comedies like What If and has also appeared in live theater. He has also played other famous literary figures besides Harry Potter, such as when he played Igor in Victor Frankenstein (2015) and Rosencrantz in a live version of Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead in 2017. Some of his upcoming roles include playing Tim Jenkin in Escape from Pretoria. Some of his upcoming roles include a part in The Jungle (2017) as Yossi Ghinsberg and appearing in a film called Beast of Burden, which is set for release in 2018. He has even lent his voice to two different characters in The Simpsons! It is actually very ironic that Daniel Radcliffe disliked Harry Potter because that film series catapulted him to international stardom. He might only be 28, but he is definitely doing great!
