Topher Grace is officially 39! Born in New York on July 12, 1978, Topher Grace’s real name was actually Christopher John Grace. His first role in Hollywood was for playing Eric Forman on the hit television series That ’70s Show. In spite of his initial start on television, Grace did not have his first major film role until he played the part of Seth Abrahms in Traffic (2000). The film proved to be both a critical and commercial success as it four out of the five Academy Awards that it was nominated for. The film’s director, Steven Soderbergh, famously received the Best Director nomination twice that year because he received a nomination for Erin Brockovich. Gladiator might have won Best Picture that year, but at least Topher Grace was able to start his film and television career in a Best Picture nominee.
After that great start, Topher Grace went on to have a variety of acting roles in films ranging from Mona Lisa Smile (2003) to Spider-Man 3 (2007). He also had an uncredited appearance as himself in Ocean’s Eleven (2001). His upcoming films include Delirium and Under the Silver Lake, both of which are scheduled for a 2017 release date. Topher Grace really is leaving a mark on the world of film and television!
