The Internet blamed Katy Perry for “making fun” of Hindu goddess
After posting a picture of the Hindu goddess Kali on Instagram, Katy Perry faced a lot of uproar.
Kali is the goddess of death who is often associated with sexuality and symbolic of love.
Perry captioned the image: “Current mood.” Then, the followers accused her of being “disrespectful” and “insulting”, Standard reports.

“This post need edits or must be removed, I found it offensive to my religion. @katyperry please.” wrote another one.
A third person said: “Are you serious? You’re using pics of our Goddesses as memes?”
Others blamed her of being “disrespectful to Indians” and warned her to “not make fun of our God”.
