Jet owned by Elvis auctioned after sitting on runway for 35 years
A private jet that was once owned by Elvis Presley has been auctioned after spending 35 years on a New Mexico runway.
The private jet was sold for $430,000 at a California event, with the buyer not being disclosed and auctioneer Brigitte Kruse stating that she could not immediately reveal the buyer’s plans regarding the plane.
According to the auction house, the gold-tone woodwork interior with red velvet seats and red shag carpet was designed by Elvis Presley himself.
