Rory McIlroy car goes on the market for just under £22,000
A car that was once owned by world No 2 golfer Rory McIlroy has just come on the market at a Co Down dealership.
The staff at Morgan Cars in Warrenpoint could not believe it when they saw that their firm had bought the Audi Q7 earlier this month and read the name attached to it.
The six-year-old, 3.0-litre car, with 80,000 miles on the clock has already attracted plenty of interest.

“It was bought from Agnews and it was previously owned by Rory McIlroy and then another lady before we bought it. We have had a few people interested in it already and there is going to be a golf fan out there that just really wants it simply because it was his,” stated Mark Morgan from Morgan Cars.
People have already been cracking jokes regarding the former owner of the car, such as “You better check the seats because apparently, you’ve got a hole in one.”
Nevertheless, Mark assures customers that the car is in perfect condition. “For what it is, it is excellent value,” he said.
