Cinema premieres of ”The Mummy” and ”Wonder Woman”, cancelled after Manchester attack

”The Mummy” and ”Wonder Woman” had their premieres in London cancelled due to the Manchester attack.

The two movies’ premieres have been cancelled “out of respect” for the victims.

“All of us at Universal have been devastated by the terror attack in Manchester and continue to stand with the community and country as it recovers. Out of respect to those affected by this tragedy we have decided not to move forward with the London premiere for The Mummy scheduled to take place next week,” Universal Studios declared.

“The Mummy” was supposed to start screening on June 1, while “Wonder Woman” was supposed to do so a day earlier.

“Our thoughts are with those affected by the recent tragedy in the UK. In light of the current situation, we will not be proceeding with our plans for the Wonder Woman premiere and junket activities in London,” Warner Bros stated.

The suicide bombing in Manchester, that took place at Ariana Grande’s concert, left 22 people dead and 119 more injured.
