Much in the news for celebrities’ fashion look, the International Film Festival is spreading a word for ‘Red Carpet favourites and disasters’.

Living up to its hype the festival has started making news from Day 1. Be it the wardrobe malfunction of model Bella Hadid on the Red Carpet to the controversial dress worn by the cultural minister (Israel) Miri Regev; the pictures from the Red Carpet are speaking much more than just 1000 words.

The ginormous film festival hosted in France invites film makers from around the globe to present their style of storytelling at an international level. Along with faces from the movie industry the festival has seen an over-grown cosmetic industry bringing models and actresses on the Red Carpet to promote their brand making it a bigger vanity affair than ever.

This year the festival is celebrating its 70-year journey and along in this journey started in 1946 has narrowed down from films to mere Red Carpet gala. The beautiful faces from across the globe are walking the Red Carpet of this prestigious film festival and either are making or breaking their image with this one look.

Not only the fashion magazines and tabloids but the mainstream media is also paying a heavy-duty attention to these walks of fames. It is interesting to notice that the women in particular are being scrutinized in each fram

The length of the slit to the hair-do, the lip colour to diamond; women walking on this red aisle are seeming to lose their power to photographers. Pictures taken here are spreading like a fire on the internet and so are the mean opinions and controversy later.

Women at this festival need to bring more than just their look as with the increasing number of media stories running over the Festival De Cannes, its popularity seems to be growing more than ever but little is growing its content.
