The second trailer released by HBO appears to show Bran at Winterfell and the Night King looking into the sky. Will Bran now be able to fly?
It is now less than three weeks until Game of Thrones returns to our screens and predicting the action is now harder than ever as the television series has overtaken the book series.
The variance between the two bodies of work means that there are now two Game of Thrones universes and what happens in one universe does not necessarily have to happen in the other.

‘Hold the Door’ an episode from Season 6 progressed the story of Bran beyond the books and revealed the way in which the wall may fall. The Night King managed to grab Bran and this broke the spell protecting him, Meera, the Three-eyed Raven, Summer, the Children of the Forest and of course Hodor.
The trailers for Season 7 and various press releases seem to suggest that Bran will return to Winterfell for a possible reunion with Sansa, Arya and Jon Snow. A return to Winterfell by Bran would create trouble for the new King in the North Jon Snow as by rights Brandon the Broken is the heir to Robb Stark and the new King in the North.
Bran also knows the truth of Jon’s parentage, for this reason it has to be taken as red that they will miss each other for the moment on their travels around Westeros.
In A Storm of Swords the true nature of Bran’s abilities as a greenseer are discussed:
“the greatest of them could wear the skins of any beast that flies or swims or crawls,”
Dragons fly and a theme running through the TV series is that Bran will never walk again but he will fly.
The latest trailer shows the Night King looking up to the sky, some have suggested it is Daenerys that he may see, the smart money will be on a dragon that has been warged by Bran to save his brother (cousin) Jon Snow.
