Another epic performance from legendary Foo Fighters. “I see a naked guy! This one’s for him” – Dave Grohl, frontman of Foo Fighters remarked, as they broke into hit song My Hero.

Grohl and the band played all the classics from Best of You to Queens, Under Pressure, which Taylor Hawkins drummer of Foo Fighters sang while Dave Grohl retreated to his famous drumming position known from back in his Nirvana days.

The crowd sang along on the Pyramid Stage to all their songs. Having missed the band two years prior when Dave Grohl broke his leg in a mishap on stage in Sweden. Florence and the Machine stepped in to headline that time.

But Foo Fighters were back and even played a new song, “Run” off their much anticipated new up and coming album Concrete and Gold which will mark the bands 22 years of success and their 9th studio album due to release on September 15th 2017.

Everyone in attendance was in high spirit and the Foo Fighters finished with their signature last song, rock classic, Everlong. Fireworks erupted from behind the scene and the members of the band were greeted with champagne as they walked backstage.

The Foo Fighters will continue to tour festivals going to Open’er Festival on the 29th of June in Poland before heading off to Roskilde Festival, Denmark on the 30th of June. Before taking a small break and heading off to Spain. Be sure to check them out.

One thing’s for sure – the Foo are alive and kicking and still one of the biggest bands in the world with one of the best rock voices and charismatic people in the rock industry in Dave Grohl.

Long live the Foo! We can’t wait to hear the rest of the songs off their new album which promises a new style. As Dave Grohl says, ” Concrete and Gold is like Motorhead meets the Beatles.” Who doesn’t want to hear that?
