For those of you that don’t realize, 1997 was 20 years ago. Somehow I still remember it a little bit, playing outside in elementary school, those were the days. With that being said, take a look at all of these things that turn 20 this year. Warning: get ready to feel old.

Titanic. This hit movie was released on December 19, 1997. Jack and Rose still have a place in everyone’s heart.
Backstreet Boys’ Backstreets Back. This song that was stuck in everyone’s head was released on August 11, 1997. I still remember singing this song on the bus in 4th grade on the way home from school, right before the bus driver gave us popsicles.
Selena. Released on March 21, 1997, this without a doubt is one of Jennifer Lopez’s greatest films. This biographical drama was a box office hit as well.
South Park. Who could forget that this hilarious hit show was premiered in 1997? Now on its 20th season Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman are still household names.
Kylie Jenner. This well-known member of the Kardashian clan turns 20 on August 10th this year. I wonder if she will get another expensive car for her birthday.
Hercules. This animated Disney movie was released on June 27, 1997. I still remember going to Blockbuster and picking this movie up-on tape at that, and having a movie night.
Hanson’s MMMBop. Who can believe that this hit song is now 20 years old? What’s even scarier is that all of the members of Hanson now have their own families.
