Stating an obvious fact, Simpsons has a magnetic appeal. The show has its enthusiasts all over. Being the way it is, it attracted many famous names for a cameo on the show. There’s have been some huge names voicing up the characters. Can you believe that even the pop star Michael Jackson blessed it with his voice? Other big names include Michelle Pfeiffer, Danny DeVito, Ringo Starr, Glenn Close, etc.
But there’s a huge name that couldn’t make it
The makers of the cartoon show of immense potential and kinetic energy, ‘The Simpsons’ gave every interested celebrity a chance to be a part of it. At least we thought it once. But now we need to know a fact. They refused the chance to a person with a global reach.
Here’s that name
It was in a recent Comic-Con panel session that the executive producer of ‘The Simpsons’ was asked if the show has ever turned down a voicing offer from a celebrity. To everybody’s surprise, the answer was a ‘Yes.’ Jean here takes a brief pause and says, “Let’s just say he’s the president of the United States.”
So yes, Donald Trump wanted to be a voice of a character from ‘The Simpsons,’ but couldn’t make it.
