South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have made claims of returning to the show’s early days of “kids being kids” and have even hinted at bringing back the one-off episodes that filled the first several seasons of the television show. During the 2016 presidential campaign, the show ripped into Donald Trump in anticipation of a Clinton victory. That will cease, according to the creators, who prefer when “Cartman is f**king around with Butters”.

The next video game installment for the franchise, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is slated to be released October 17th.
