Kodaline set to tour UK in December
Tickets are now on sale for Kodaline nationwide tour
Tickets are now on sale for a December nationwide tour of the UK by the Irish band, Kodaline.
Following on from their summer and autumn shows around Europe they will be playing in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and finally London.
The announcement of the tour comes not too long after the quartet’s release of new song “Brother” and their second album, “Coming up for air” which received much acclaim.
Kodaline are an Irish band originating from Dublin and composed of childhood friends who share a love for music. The tour offers an opportunity for UK fans to hear live some of their most melodic and haunting songs such as “High Hopes”, “The One” and “Talk”.
The group received positive reviews for previous live performances and their stage presence so this one looks certain not to disappoint.
“In a perfect World”, their first album, was released in June 2013 and their songs have been employed as soundtracks to a variety of tv shows and films such as “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Fault in Our Stars”.
For those unfamiliar with their music, it can be described as quiet and wonderfully melodic with a folky vibe. The songs are uplifting and soothing, the sound being similar to that of Keane and Paolo Nutini.
A heartfelt tone to the lyrics plays out nicely alongside the piano, keyboards and guitars.
