“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is set to have five post-credits scenes
The second film of the franchise will feature five post-credit scenes. At least two of them are considered to be a set-up for future Marvel movies, most likely “Infinity War” and maybe “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, according to the Independent.
Marvel‘s popularity with critics and fans has relied on quite a strict formula, barely shifting with each franchise, focusing on the ever-present tactic of the post-credit scene. This gives room for room to secure fans’ loyalty and hints of what may come next in order to start the hype.
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will include five post-credit scenes, according to director James Gunn. In order to find what the scenes include, the film’s review embargo has to drop. The sequel will see the return of Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, as well as Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel voicing Rocket and Baby Groot.
The second installment takes place two to three months after the first film, with the Guardians facing a new threat.
