Pricey advertising: Top 10 most expensive words in Google AdWords
Google’s revenue amounted over $80 billion last year, and around 97% of it was generated by Pay Per Click publicity (PPC).
According to a marketing study conducted by American company WordSteam, the price of keywords in English starts at 5 cents and can reach up to $50.
The most expensive keyword in Google AdWords is ”insurance”. Being looked up almost 25 million times a month. Companies in the USA pay $54 for a single click on this word.

”Insurance” is closely followed by ”loans” and ”mortgage”($44-$48).
Top 10 most expensive keywords also includes „attorney”, „credit”, „lawyer”, „donate”, „hosting”, and „claim”, while the following most expensive words are „conference call”, „trading” , „software”, ”recovery” and „transfer”.
