USA – On July 31, Nueces County Sheriff’s Department (NCSD) released their August 2017 Top 10 Most Wanted List.

Of those listed was none other than Quintanilla. His mugshot, along with basic information has been released with 9 other individuals on the list. He has an active warrant, and is facing charges for Contempt of Court, and Non Payment of Child Support.
Quintanilla has not been located, or arrested according to the latest list of Child Support Evaders Released by Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton.
Quintanilla has not made a public response to the list, or the active warrant.

In response to the Corpus Christi Caller Times, Abraham Quintanilla II expressed that “his son would not comment, but the matter should be resolved by his son’s lawyers.”
Any further information regarding Quintanilla’s Warrant, or the amount of child support owed has yet to be released.

Quintanilla rose to fame alongside sister, and “Queen of Tejano” Selena Quintanilla. In the time since her death he also had his own success with a number of bands first with the Kumbia Kings.
His latest band Elektro Kumbia has been on the Latin music scene since 2016 after Quintanilla signed on with DEL records.
