Smart For Two Brabus review
The smart car has always been renowned to be a fun city car and today we got the chance to check the latest car from their range the Smart ForTwo Brabus.
Looks can be deceiving with the space in the ForTwo with the length only 2740mm, although when you get into the cabin it feels much larger than you would think for a car with these dimensions. When you get behind the wheel you can really see how Brabus have had their influence on this car, with the sporty all black leather interior and the retro looking rev counter, it was a nice place to be! There are a lot of toys to be had with the Brabus, with the likes of the JBL sound system, all the way to the 3.5inch colour display and on board computer. The display was surprisingly easy to navigate your way around with all the usual mod cons such as Satnav and smart phone functionality.
Getting on to the outside of the car your eyes are instantly attracted to the sportier body kit, 17inch alloy wheels and dual chrome tailpipes, all these added extras really show a difference to the standard smart car.
The performance of this exciting little car has a 3-cylindar turbo in-line engine reaching a staggering 62.8mpg. The ForTwo is the quickest accelerating car in the Smart Car range with an acceleration speed from 0-62mph in 9.5 seconds and a top speed of 103mph. Due to the fact the Brabus ForTwo releases 102 CO2 it will cost the tax payer £140 annually.
Overall I think the Smart Brabus ForTwo remains a desirable city car. This pocket rocket gives you all the performance you need round town with the style to match. There is no doubt that heads will be turning on your daily commute.
