Tower House, a psychedelic escape from repurposed materials
John Kahn, a former set designer for the show Muppets, is the creative force behind Tower House, a psychedelic escape built from repurposed materials.
Kahn built the Tower House over the course of 15 years and he using only repurposed and locally available materials, such as copper, aircraft-grade aluminium, slate, as well as local wood and bluestone.
The home has three bedrooms and looks different from every angle, with every room also having a different visual theme. It also has three storage buildings, a sauna, a guest house and a large studio building, incorporated into the cylindrical structure, with the unusual ix of materials inspired by the Catskills wilderness.
