“Sister, Sister” reboot? What other 90’s shows need to be brought back immediately
90’s babies rejoice! There may be hope for a “Sister, Sister” reboot after all!
Tia Mowry has recently stated she would like for a “Sister, Sister” revival to happen: “We’re looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show. I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be. Everything in my career has always been a challenge.”
With so many of our favorite shows slowly reappearing back on the TV screen, I can’t help but hold out hope for other beloved shows to take us back to our nostalgic days!
Here are some other 90’s classics that should be rebooted:
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Not too long ago, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” cast came together to support Karyn Parsons, who played Will’s eldest cousin Hilary Banks. While we don’t have the late James Avery with us anymore, a reunion of some sorts with the remaining characters would still bring back all the feels only the Banks family and the Fresh Prince could.
Kenan & Kel
“Aww here it goes!”
“Kenan and Kel” were the definition of “friendship goals”. With their silly antics, unpredictable predicaments, and genuine brotherly love for one another; how could you not tune in every night during “Snick” (only true 90’s babies know what I’m talking about) and watch the hilarious duo. In 2015, the two friends reunited on Jimmy Fallon for a “Good Burger” sketch. Although there have been talks of a “Good Burger 2”, we still need to go back to where it all began.
F.R.I.E.N.D.S
America’s favorite group of coffee drinking, sarcastic, lovable young adults living in New York City made everyone believe in the power of friendship, love, and that a duck and chic can live together.
Even though all the former cast members of this iconic sitcom have since made their own successful careers following the end of the series, we still can’t help but binge-watch all ten seasons on Netflix from the day Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) appeared at Central Perk to when she and Ross Gellar (David Schwimmer) reunited. Who else wants to know where they’re at 10 plus years later
