How much iPhone X costs around the world
If you’re from the US, you will have to pay $999 for iPhone 8. If you live somewhere else, you will have to pay even more, according to CNN.
Apple charges differently from country to country, depending on taxes and how each local currency compares with the USD. In certain countries, such as Canada and Japan, the iPhone X costs around $100 more compared to the US. In other countries, like Italy and Ireland, the phone costs $400 more.
Apple analyst Gene Munster of Loup Ventures said that iPhones’ prices might cost between $50 and $300 more internationally. However, the higher prices don’t necessarily prevent global shoppers from buying a new iPhone, as “it usually isn’t a deal-breaker”, as Munster said. Munster believes that this will be true considering the futuristic iPhone X, which looks quite diffetent from other models.

Frank Gillet, analyst at Forrester Research, pointed out that a comparison between prices across countries is hard not only because of the currency conversions and local taxes, but also because the phone’s cost depends on the average resident’s income as well.
