Everything you need to know about the “Will & Grace” reboot
The nostalgia has kicked into high gear!
The originators of “friendship goals” are returning to television this fall and we can hardly contain our excitement!
After years of speculation and subtle hints, “Will & Grace” are back and they’re bringing Karen and Jack with them.
When we last saw the infamous duo, they were happily married to their significant others and had children that happened to attend the same college as they did. Jack and Karen remained Jack and Karen, and Rosario (Karen’s sarcastic, lovable maid) was right there with them.
As you prepare to re-watch all eight seasons to get ready for the sixteen episode pilot, here are a few things you should expect from the new season of “Will & Grace”:
It won’t follow the series finale:
Even though the show ended on a beautiful note, the series won’t pick up from the twenty-year time jump. The show will still focus on the four main characters but there hasn’t been word on the status of the Will or Grace’s children and significant others.
Rosario won’t be returning for the reboot:
Shelley Morrison retired from showbiz so everyone’s lovable maid won’t be present
Leo will be back:
Grace’s estranged ex-husband will be returning for the reboot. Harry Connick Jr. has confirmed his character will be returning but in what ways, we won’t know until the series premiere. Leo and Grace married ins haste and divorced shortly after when Leo cheated on her. It’ll be interesting to see how his character and his and Grace’s relationship will unfold.
It’s already been renewed for a second season:
So don’t fret! They’ll be around for quite awhile!
Will & Grace will returning to NBC September 28th!
