These islands will pay you to visit in 2017
The Virgin Islands will pay visitors who chose to vacation there in 2017. The US territory will give $300 spending credit to any traveler who spends at least three nights on St. Thomas, St. John or St. Croix.
The program is a part of the islands’ centennial. To celebrate 100 years of being a US territory, visitors can get 300$ to spend exploring the island.
Plus, if you happen to travel during the month of March — the actual centennial month — you’ll receive a free commemorative surprise gift.
You’ll need to stay at one of the U.S. Virgin Islands’ participating hotels in order to receive the $300. A full list is available on the islands’ tourism website.
