”Idiot” – the most common word Americans use to describe Donald Trump
”Idiot” was the answer given more times than any other when a Quinnipiac University poll asked Americans to say the first word that comes to mind when thinking about the U.S. president Donald Trump.
”Incompetent” and ”liar” were the second and third most common words used by those polled.
The study comes at a time when Trump’s approval rating is at 36 percent, just one point above the president’s lowest score so far – the 35 percent approval rating he got on April 4.
Out of the 527 answers, Quinnipiac University made a list of the words that were mentioned at least five times.
Donald Trump gets a few positive description, such as ”leader”, ”strong”, ”great”, ”good”, ”patriotism”, but the overwhelming answers show a negative view that the respondents have about the president.
Description words such as ”unqualified”, ”ignorant”, ”egotistical”, ”asshole”, ”stupid”, ”arrogant”, ”bully” and ”narcissist” were all used more than ten times by people polled.
Just 14 percent of respondents thought that the president is doing a better job than expected, while 24 percent said he is doing a worse job than expected.
Most respondents – 60 percent – said Trump is doing his job as they have expected.
Also, 33 percent of respondents said Donald Trump is honest, while 61 percent said he is dishonest.
Asked if Donald Trump has good leadership skills, 41 percent answered yes, while 56 percent answered no.
38 percent of respondents said Trump cares about the average American, while 59 percent said he does not.
Also, only 29 percent of respondents said they consider Donald Trump to be level headed, while 66 percent said he is not.
