American university Carnegie Mellon started a professional poker competition that puts human champions face to face with a supercomputer.
The artificial intelligence system runs on a supercomputer named Libratus. If people win the competition, they will share the $200,000 prize. If Libratus wins, though, it will make history.
The tournament takes place between January 11 and January 30 on Rivers Casino and it is broadcasted on Twitch. In 2015, humans were the one winning, but artificial intelligence made a lot of progress since then.
