Another aspect of this live city is the public transport – the local trains, buses, taxis. It is said that more than 70% of the population depends on public transport.

Mumbai is a city of cultures, one that has people from all sorts of religions, right from the Christians, Muslims, Parsis, Sikhs, Gujratis to the Hindus. All religions are equally practiced and respected. All festivals are celebrated with equal enthusiasm. May it be Eid, or Diwali, all the people take part in the joyous celebrations of one another.

The main attractions beginning from the southern part of the city are Colaba, then historical places such as the Gateway of India, Forts and The Prince of Wales Museum which is well known for its antiques.

Also, Chowpatty is a famous beach to spend time with your loved ones, family or friends. Here you can eat the famous Pani puri, Bhel, Pop Corn, Slush, Chaat, and so on. The list never ends. Or you can drink the fresh coconut water or take a splash in the sea while at the beach.

There is also our one and only Crawford Market. It’s a flea market but one where you’ll find anything and everything at a reasonable price. It’s equally famous as our Amazon.

Moving towards the North of Mumbai is the Siddhivinayak temple. The devotees of lord Ganesha come from different areas just to pay a visit to the temple. There are also 3 statues of lord Ganesha on his vehicle, which is a mouse. It is believed that if someone tells his or hers wishes in the ears of the mouse, he will convey it to the Lord and the Lord will fulfill it.

Among the things that Mumbai is renowned for there are also the Mahakali & Kanheri caves, which depict a variety of the Indian culture, the Aarey Milk Colony, which is well known for its pure milk, but also not to forget the animals at the Sanjay Gandhi National park.
