VIDEO: Best Wedding Dance Ever! The Groom Choreographed Everything Flawlessly
A wedding is one of the most important days in the life of every woman, and every woman wants the day to be as wonderful as possible.
Sometimes the grooms go the extra mile to make sure that they will always remember this day and that everything will be perfect for their bride.
This is exactly the case with this newly wed couple and the dance that the groom choreographed is probably the best dance we have ever seen at a wedding.
According to dailymail.co.uk, most first dances at a wedding involve a bride and groom waltzing around a quiet dance floor as guests look on and dab their teary eyes.
But a professional dancer decided to liven up the stereotype a little and enlisted the help of his groomsmen to surprise his bride with an incredible eight-minute synchronised performance at their wedding reception.
Kirk Henning took to the floor with his eight friends at Richmond CenterStage in Virginia and danced to a medley of songs while his amazed wife watched from a chair.
The bride, Valerie Tellmann-Henning, is a ballerina with the Richmond Ballet and the performance took place on the same stage the couple had previously shared as dancers.
The video, which has been seen over 250,000 times since it was uploaded, shows Kirk making his way towards Valerie as Uptown Funk is played by the DJ.
The groomsmen get into position and the dancers begin striking poses as the first verse kicks in and Kirk spins around to face his wife.
The group, all wearing perfectly tailored tuxedos, then dance together as their guests cheer them on.
Later the song merges into Britney Spears track (You Drive Me) Crazy, and after stripping down to their shirts the men are filmed continuing with their dance.
Confetti then falls from the ceiling as the wedding cheer and shriek with delight.
Putting on black cowboy hats, the men parade the stage before the whole show comes to an end and the bride, who has her face in her hands in sheer amazement throughout the display, embraces her new husband.
Valerie told the Richmond Times Dispatch that she had dropped hints to Kirk running up to the big day about his groomsmen dance and he just fobbed her off, saying he was too busy with touring and school.
But Kirk had actually started the planning process four months in advance of their July 25 church wedding, sending out tutorial videos over email to his eight groomsmen.
Their wedding photographer Ginger Topham, who posted the eight-minute clip said that Valerie had no idea what Kirk had up his sleeve – and that the guests were ‘blown away’ by the surprise.
But viewers will be astounded to know that among Kirk’s groomsmen were only four professionals.
Valerie told the Richmond Times Dispatch that her own brother has ‘two left feet’ and only had one rehearsal before the wedding.
Kirk said: ‘I knew how important it was to her. So I figured, we’re going to do this or die trying.’
Meanwhile, the newlyweds are no stranger to the spotlight, as Valerie featured on the TLC show Say Yes To The Dress.
Commenting on the video, user Lee McLaurin wrote: ‘Looks like the bride was having a great time. So proud of her new dude.’
While Erin Haury said: ‘This is fantastic! What a wonderful surprise!’
