Pippa Middleton’s wedding details, from the dress to the honeymoon

It is said to be the wedding of the year – as Pippa Middleton, Princess Kate’s sister, 33, will marry multimillionaire hedge fund manager James Matthews this month.

With a several of senior royal attendants, this won’t be an average church hall affair. Here’s how the big day is set to go down, according to a Standard Evening report.

Pippa decided to keep her hen party celebrations surprisingly low-key – she went with her sister for a skiing break in Meribel, France last month.

“Pippa loves skiing so it was her first choice for a hen weekend. They stayed in a really exclusive catered chalet with maids and a chef, who ensured that they were totally spoilt. The owners also wanted to impress their royal guests so the girls were showered with gifts. They were given Swatch watches, Ugg slippers, leather-bound notebooks and bespoke fragrances. It was a very small, private party and they had an amazing time.” a source close to the bride-to-be told the Sun.

Regarding the invitations, Pippa was spotted shopping with her mother Carole at Mount Street Printers, fuelling speculation that the official invitations were supplied from the luxury Mayfair-based stationery shop.

Although everybody thought that the dress will be made by creative director Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen, the creator who made her sister’s wedding dress, actually it will be made by designer Giles Deacon, who was photographed arriving at her house with several dresses in November.

Pippa Middleton’s pre-wedding diet is dangerous?

The wedding will take place at country church St Mark’s in Englefield, Berkshire, close to the bride’s family home, while the low-key reception will take place at the Middleton’s family home in Bucklebury, an estate of some 18-acres, seven miles away from the church.

“Pippa is a traditional girl and wanted to marry close to home.” said a friend of the bride.

William, Kate, Prince Harry, Princess Charlotte and Prince George will be VIP guests.

Kate is not expected to take on Maid of Honour duties, because she would upstage her sister.

“It’s a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well? But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible.” veteran royals author Judy Wade explained.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte will serve as page boy and bridesmaid at the wedding, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

As for the honeymoon, Matthews is likely to bring his bride to the elite island of St. Barths. His parents own the exclusive Eden Rock hotel on the Caribbean island.
