Elevated museum lets you stroll through treetops

Patkau Architects have recently designed an amazing museum that meanders through a forest in British Columbia.

The Canadian firm designed an angular museum in order to house the artwork of a private collector and keep it safe from the danger of flooding, with the linear succession of spaces creating the illusion of strolling through the forest.

The elevated walkway leads to the main entrance of the building located beneath an angular form clad. Despite the fact that the exterior facade has a rather artificial appearance, being clad in black metal panels, the interior is dominated by wood, introducing elements of warmth of familiarity.
