1000-lb Sisters Star Tammy Slaton Announces Engagement to Andrea Dalton
Tammy Slaton, known for documenting her weight loss journey on TLC since 2020, revealed her engagement to girlfriend Andrea Dalton during Tuesday’s Creative Chaos podcast. When podcast host Hunter Ezell inquired about her use of the term “fiance,” Slaton casually described their relationship: “We kind of just chill at home” and “go to Walmart and just walk around.”

Ezell noticed Slaton wearing a necklace with Dalton’s name and observed her “lighting up” while discussing her partner. Slaton confirmed the engagement by showing off her diamond ring, prompting the host’s enthusiastic response: “Have mercy, that is so cute!”

During the season seven premiere of 1000-lb Sisters, Slaton first disclosed her relationship, explaining she had been dating Dalton for “a couple months” and intentionally keeping it private. “I want to approach this relationship differently,” she said, identifying as pansexual. The third episode featured their first public date at a bowling alley.

This marks Slaton’s first relationship since the death of her husband, Caleb Willingham, whom she married in 2022. Willingham passed away in 2023 at 40, with the cause of death disclosed.
Slaton has been transparent about her significant health transformation after bariatric surgery in 2022. During the April season premiere, she revealed remarkable weight loss: “When I was at my heaviest, I was 700-plus pounds. Right now, I’m weighing in at 238.”
Reflecting on her journey, Slaton highlighted transformative lifestyle changes. “Just being able to walk without a walker, not needing oxygen, fitting in a regular vehicle, and using a standard seat

belt what seems minor to some is giant for me,” she shared in a 2023 interview.
Her ongoing story continues to inspire viewers tracking her remarkable personal and health evolution.
